- Upgrade any time, effective immediately, with a pro-rated charge
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the period

What does a request cost?
It depends on the level the request needs and the length of the text. Gate keeps it low by sending simple tasks to fast, low-cost models — only the hard questions go to the strongest ones.
A simple translation costs a fraction of a cent, a complex analysis a few cents. Repeated instructions are cached and cost less, and tasks that can wait run as a half-price batch. You see the cost of every call, per key, in your own currency.

Before you pay.
Are prices net?
Yes. All prices are net; VAT is added according to your billing details.
Which currencies can I pay in?
EUR, GBP, USD and HUF. Your balance and plan limits are converted at the daily exchange rate, so you get the same value in each.
What do I need before the first top-up?
Your billing details: address, country and, for companies, a tax number — so the invoice is right from the start.
Can I switch between a balance and a plan?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately with a pro-rated charge, downgrades at the end of the period, and from the Max plan you can move to a balance.
How long is a top-up valid?
For 12 months from the top-up.
